Here is what some of our clients have to say.
E-rate Manager® Service
Funds For Learning is the developer of an award-winning web-based service called E-rate Manager. This tool helps program participants prepare and organize their paperwork and stay on top of all their E rate information. E rate Manager provides easy access to Form preparation wizards, historical E-rate funding data, and on-demand E-rate training modules. The service comes in two varieties ‐ one for applicants and one for service providers.
To maintain our expertise and provide consistent quality service, Funds For Learning has built a team of professionals with over 220 years of combined E-rate experience. Our team of 30+ professionals is well skilled with 25 bachelor degrees and six graduate/post-graduate degrees, including three Juris Doctorates, one Certified Public Accountant, numerous graduate degrees in Business, Management and Communications, and multiple professional and technical certifications.
Although no formal regulation exists governing E-rate consultants, Funds For Learning has established and implemented several self-imposed professional consulting standards for our firm. Each staff member is required to comply with the Funds For Learning Code of Conduct, the E-mpa® Code of Ethics, and a Code of Client Confidentiality.
In addition to helping our school and library clients apply for support, Funds For Learning is an active advocate for all E-rate stakeholders. Our web site is visited by thousands of people each month for free news, updates and other information about the E-rate program. We also support efforts to reform the E-rate program and increase funding for schools.
For example, in 2010, an additional $599 million was funded for 2,954 schools and libraries because of the FCC's Funds For Learning Order. This order was a direct result of our petition, on behalf of all schools and libraries nationwide, to provide additional funding for internal connections projects. More recently, Funds For Learning submitted a petition requesting that more funding be allocated to support E-rate applicants.
Additional information concerning these and other efforts is available on our Advocacy page.
