| FY 2007 Commitments Approaching $2 Billion |

The 40th wave of funding decisions for Funding Year 2007 brings the total committed for the year to just under $2 Billion. The wave, released Tuesday, included commitments of $25.7 Million and reductions or rejections of $1.8 Million. The SLD also released two small appeal decision waves for FY 2002 and 2005 on Tuesday. The SLD is expected to continue weekly waves for Funding Year 2007 until the bulk of remaining pending applications have been reviewed and a funding decision made. The SLD will continue to issue waves for previous funding years when needed as applications and appeals for past years are reviewed.
