| E-rate Consultant Sentenced to Prison |

The U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) announced that Judy Green, a former education technology consultant, has been sentenced to 7 ½ years in prison for defrauding the E-rate program. Judy Green was convicted on September 14, 2007 of 22 counts of fraud, bid rigging, and conspiracy to commit wire fraud involving the E-rate program from schools in seven states.
