| USAC Issues Quarterly Report; Reports $600 Million Available for Future Use |

The Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) reported to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that approximately $600 million is now available from FY 2002-2004 for future use. Based on the FCC's 3rd Report and Order carry over dollars will increase the overall funds available for disbursement. Last June the FCC rolled over $650 million from previous years to increase the overall funding pot for FY 2007 which is why USAC was able to fund priority two applications at 81% and above. It is not clear when the FCC will make a similar determination for FY 2008. Every quarter USAC is required to revise their estimates of the unused funds. USAC reported the breakdown of unused funds by year as follows:
