Over 680 applicants will receive funding commitment decision letters from the latest wave of commitments made by USAC for the 2008 funding year. All of the commitments in this wave are for the Priority One service categories of Telecommunications Services and Internet Access. The funding wave, which is the eleventh for the 2008 funding year was issued on July 8 and included nearly $25 million in commitments and $1.37 million in rejections or reductions. The SLD has said that there will be no FY 2007 commitments this week because of the recent July 4th holiday.
