| SLC Adds CSUs/DSUs to Eligible List |

After weeks of deliberation, the Schools and Libraries Corporation has added Channel Service Units/Data Service Units to the list of services that will be considered eligible for E-rate funding. The SLC officially added CSUs/DSUs to the list on Feb. 25, a few weeks after it had declared that conduit would be considered eligible when used to house eligible internal connections. A CSU/DSU is a device used to terminate a digital channel at a customer's premises. The SLC's list of eligible and ineligible services is available at http://www.neca.org/funds/faslc.htm. |
