Peter Kaplan, Director of Regulatory Affairs Peter Kaplan has nearly fifteen years of experience in government and regulatory affairs. Prior to joining Funds For Learning, Mr. Kaplan worked as a legislative analyst in the telecommunications and high-tech practice of a leading Washington, DC-based lobbying firm covering broadband, wireless, cable, satellite, privacy and cyber-security issues. Mr. Kaplan has also represented the interests of the library and education communities through his work in the Washington DC office of the American Library Association. While there, Mr. Kaplan focused on legislative and regulatory issues such as universal service, and public and school library appropriations issues. Mr. Kaplan holds an M.A. in Telecommunications from George Washington University and received his B.A. in Political Science from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
