Tech & Learning Magazine has awarded Funds For Learning their 2008 Tech & Learning Award of Excellence for E-rate Manager for Applicants. E-rate Manager for Applicants is our suite of online tools that enables schools, districts, libraries, and consortia to complete the entire E-rate application process online. E-rate Manager for Applicants is one of only 35 products honored in this year's competition. Following the massive devastation brought to the Gulf Coast by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Funds For Learning was invited to join a consortium of business, associations and non-profit entities brought together by the Intel Corporation. The Hurricane Education Leadership Program (HELP) Team, is focused on rebuilding or renewing learning environments for the 21st Century by providing support, strategic guidance and vision for K-12 schools, school systems, educators and education leaders (including elected officials) impacted by recent hurricanes on the Gulf Coast. The Funds For Learning Chief Executive Officer, John Harrington, serves as Chair of the Funding & Advocacy Committee and the Funds For Learning staff developed and maintains the HELP team web site. Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) Funds For Learning is proud to be a CoSN Friend of Advocacy to support CoSN's efforts to represent CoSN's interests in Washington, D.C.
