2004 EdNET Pioneer Award

The Heller Reports, a QED company and leading provider of education market news and events, recognized Funds For Learning for its significant contributions to the advancement of the education technology industry by awarding FFL the 2004 EdNET Pioneer Award. 

2003 SLD Task Force on the Prevention of Waste, Fraud and Abuse
In 2003 the Schools and Libraries Division created the Task Force on the Prevention of Waste, Fraud and Abuse in which Funds For Learning was asked to be a participant.  The members of this task force represented a wide array of E-rate stakeholders.  The goal of the task force was to identify “areas of improvement” and to recommend specific actions to combat waste, fraud and abuse by both service providers and applicants.

Our growth in the past 10 years has allowed us to forge powerful relationships that build on our expertise and allow us to better serve our clients.  These relationships allow us to better fulfill our mission by providing training and knowledge, reinforce our commitment to education, anticipate client needs and create a network of leadership in service and compliance across the country.  Below is a sample of organizations with which we are partnered. 

HELP Team

Following the massive devastation brought to the Gulf Coast by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Funds For Learning was invited to join a consortium of business, associations and non-profit entities brought together by the Intel Corporation.  The Hurricane Education Leadership Program (HELP) Team, is focused on rebuilding or renewing learning environments for the 21st Century by providing support, strategic guidance and vision for K-12 schools, school systems, educators and education leaders (including elected officials) impacted by recent hurricanes on the Gulf Coast.  The Funds For Learning Chief Executive Officer, John Harrington, serves as Chair of the Funding & Advocacy Committee and the Funds For Learning staff developed and maintains the HELP team web site. 

Consortium for School Networking (CoSN)
Funds For Leaning has been a member of CoSN for several years and has provided leadership and E-rate training to its membership.  CoSN is the country's premier voice in education technology leadership with a mission to serve as the national organization for K-12 technology leaders who use technology strategically to ultimately improve teaching and learning. CoSN provides products and services to support and nurture leadership development, advocacy, coalition building, and awareness of emerging technologies.

Funds For Learning is proud to be a CoSN Friend of Advocacy to support CoSN's efforts to represent CoSN's interests in Washington, D.C.

Congressional Internet Caucus Advisory Committee
Funds For Learning joined the Congressional Internet Caucus Advisory Committee in 2007 in order to advocate for positive legislative outcomes for E-rate stakeholders and educate policymakers on the real life implications of their decisions.  The Congressional Internet Caucus Advisory Committee is a diverse group of public interest, non profit and industry groups working to educate the Congress and the public about important Internet-related policy issues.  

Dutko Worldwide
Funds For Learning partnered with Dutko Worldwide in order to help FFL customers implement and expand their local, state and federal programs and initiatives.  A few of their practice areas include appropriations, K-12 and Higher Ed, Foreign Affairs, Healthcare, Information Technology, Internet and Intellectual Property and Tax and Financial Services.
