Create Custom Table

In the E-rate Manager EDGE feature you can now create you own customized tables with 30 different fields which will enable you to develop an even more robust strategic business plan tied to the E-rate program

Electronic Storage Cabinet

FCC regulations state that E-rate stakeholders need to retain their documentation for a five year period. You can store all your E-rate related documentation, correspondence, invoices, contracts, RFPs, etc in E-rate Manager in an efficient manner.

2-in-5 warnings in Sales Manager and EDGE

According to the SLD's Two Out Of Five Rule, sites may only receive funding commitments for internal connections in two out of any five funding years. In many of the areas where tables of 470s appear in Sales Manager, there is now a column indicating a 2-in-5 warning for applicants who are seeking internal connections and have received internal connections funding in the last five years.

A 2 out of 5 rule tab has been added to the Applicant view in EDGE. This tab will allow you to see all the sites for the current applicant and whether or not they have any funding affected by the 2 out of 5 rule.

Sales Manager Interactive Maps improved

The visual map in Sales Manager allows you to view more easily geographically where your leads are coming from.  The interactive Maps (such as on the front Sales Manager page) have been greatly improved, and are now faster and more responsive. The color scheme for points on the map has been tweaked, and there's a whole new set of icons to better represent the interactive points (the ones you can click on).

QuickLinks

We have added a mechanism to the site for saving page locations and restoring them quickly. We have named it QuickLinks. It works similar to standard browser bookmarks or favorites with the exception that users will have access to them no matter what workstation they are at.

Added Priority One and Priority Two views to EDGE
There are two new options in the Service Category filter inside EDGE
  • Priority One
  • Priority Two

These filters work similar to the other service category filters: Selecting the Priority One filter only shows you FRNs for Telecom Services and Internet Access FRNs. Priority Two shows only Internal Connections and Basic Maintenance FRNs.

Added new fields to EDGE FRN Detail page
The EDGE FRN Detail page now contains a tab for NCES Data, Item 25, and also contains two new fields from the DRT, Form 471 Status and Form 470 Status

Added Decision Text field to EDGE Advanced Search
Users can now search through an FRN's Decision Text (aka SLD explanation) for certain words.

Added new information in the Reports Tab

We have added several new reports for you to download such as Pending Requests by Service Category, Top Reasons for Funding Denials and Wave Reports which will allow you to view the SLD explanation to why schools and service providers are getting their commitments reduced or denied.
