| USAC Releases FY 2006 and 2007 Funding Waves |

This week, USAC issued a Funding Year 2007 commitment wave totaling $49.2 Million.Over 650 applicants and 550 service providers will receive Funding Commitment Decision Letters related to this funding wave.To date, USAC has committed $1.23 Billion in funding for Funding Year 2007. Pending requests for this year currently total $2.33 Billion. USAC also released a Funding Year 2006 wave committing over $10.3 Million, with most of that total committed to Miami-Dade County Public Schools. The following table shows by discount rate, the amount requested for Funding Year 2006 that is currently pending in the Priority Two categories of service.  |
