SIIA Ed-Tech Industry Summit Funds For Learning will attend the Software & Information Industry Association’s Ed-Tech Industry Summit on May 6-8, 2012 in San Francisco, CA. FFL CEO John Harrington will be participating in a breakout session panel discussion entitled “Follow the Money: Funding Support for the New Normal” at 1:45 Pacific on Monday, May 7.

USAC Service Provider Trainings Funds For Learning staff members will be present at both the Atlanta USAC service provider training on May 10 and the Los Angeles session on May 15.

Schools, Health, & Libraries Broadband Coalition Conference On Thursday, May 24, 2012, Funds For Learning will be participating in a panel discussion at the Schools, Health, & Libraries Broadband Coalition’s Washington, DC conference “Creating Sustainable Broadband Solutions for Communities and Anchor Institutions.” The panel discussion, entitled “E-rate Strategies for Last Mile Connections for Schools and Libraries,” will also include Lil Kellogg, Vice President of Client Services, Education Networks of America (ENA), and Cheryl Abshire, Chief Technology Officer, Calcasieu Parish Schools & Assistant Professor, Lamar University. The panel “will provide information about the growing demand for bandwidth and describe the enhanced opportunities to connect schools and libraries with last-mile connection by leveraging E-Rate dollars.”
