In its 2nd wave of decisions for funding year 2006, the SLD committed $33.2 million to nearly 700 applicants and over 500 service providers. All of the requests funded in this wave were for priority 1 (telecom services and internet access) requests.
This brings the total committed for FY 2006 $123.5 million.
