USAC Seeks Chief Executive Officer

The Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) is soliciting candidates for the position of Chief Executive Officer. Since 2006, Scott Barash has been the acting CEO, with the responsibility of management and administration of all four Universal Service Programs.

While the FCC sets the overall policy for the E-rate program, USAC is the not-for-profit corporation that oversees the Universal Service Programs. USAC consists of four divisions, and the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the E-rate program.
