USAC Releases 2015 Annual Report

On April 8, 2016 the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) released its 2015 Annual Report.  The report provides the Federal Communications Commission and Congress details about the non-profit company’s activities, expenses, and performance measures regarding its management of the Universal Service Fund programs.

E-rate highlights from the 2015 report include: 

  • The average time it took USAC to process E-rate reimbursement (2015) forms: 6 days which is on par from 2014;
     
  • USAC received  2261 appeals during 2015 (up 592) which is nearly a 74% increase from 2014;
     
  • Average appeal processing time in 2015 was 83 days, up from 59 average processing time in 2014;
     
  • USAC rejected 17.4 percent of the invoices in 2015 which is down 2% from 2014;
