On June 17, 2020, the United States Senate voted to confirm Olivia Trusty, of Maryland, to be a Member of the Federal Communications Commission from July 1, 2025. The Senate also confirmed Trusty on June 18, 2025, for a five-year period, ending July 1, 2030. A summary of the vote may be found here
