The E-rate Management Professionals Association (E-MPA) hosted its 2025 Annual Meeting in Denver on September 8, bringing together consultants, school representatives, and service providers committed to the success of the federal E-rate program.
Attendees participated in interactive discussions, committee workshops, and strategy sessions focused on strengthening the program and addressing emerging challenges. A highlight of the meeting was a sneak peek at the latest E-rate Trends report, which will be released publicly later this fall.
The meeting also featured two leading voices in federal policy:
- Gina Spade, Founder of Broadband Legal Strategies and former senior counsel at the FCC, who shared insights on compliance and oversight issues.
- Reg Leichty, Partner at Foresight Law + Policy, who provided perspective on Congressional and FCC developments shaping the future of school and library connectivity.
E-MPA members also worked together to plan the year ahead, identifying priorities for advocacy, professional development, and monthly member programming. Beyond the formal sessions, the meeting offered valuable networking time and opportunities for candid conversations about the realities of E-rate administration.
The collaborative spirit in Denver underscored the importance of the E-rate program and the professionals who support it. With demand for bandwidth continuing to grow, and new challenges emerging around cybersecurity and digital equity, the role of E-MPA and its members remains as vital as ever.
