USAC announced on August 10th that the transition to using SAM.gov for E-rate reimbursements will be delayed at least through August (see their announcement here). USAC said it will provide an update in September on the expected timing of the rollout for the new discount reimbursement payment process.
In the meantime, you will continue receiving reimbursements as you have in the recent past, while USAC determines how to move forward with the transition to SAM.gov.
You can continue to register or renew your SAM.gov registration as normal and should update your FCC Form 498 with your SAM.gov Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) once it’s available. The SAM.gov registration process can take up to six weeks to complete.
Once the transition is complete, you will still be able to submit reimbursement request forms, but you will only be paid if you have an active UEI listed on your FCC Form 498.
