There’s a team behind your funding request. When you’re the one waiting on a decision, they’re who’s on the other end of the line, and they’re a big part of why our clients say working with us feels different. It’s the Guide who takes a few minutes to explain something you’ve never done before, the Guide who jumps in to help when deadlines are piling up, or the coworker who checks in just to make sure you’re doing okay.
These moments may seem small, but they’re what make the biggest difference. They build trust, strengthen our relationships, and remind us that we’re all working toward the same goal, including yours.
Teamwork, Especially When It Counts
Our busiest time of year is the Filing Window. During those weeks, the days are long, deadlines come quickly, and things can get stressful and hectic. But that’s also when our teamwork shines the brightest. Guides step in to answer questions, lend a hand when someone is overloaded, and support one another to make sure every client receives the attention they deserve, and every application is submitted on time. We know our success depends on working together, and that’s exactly what we do.
It’s Not All Work
Of course, it’s not all work. Team lunches, office events, onsite and offsite celebrations, and even a little friendly competition give us the chance to connect outside of our daily responsibilities. Those moments of laughter make busy seasons a little easier and help turn coworkers into friends. One great example was our company outing to Chicken N Pickle, where we enjoyed a fun and very competitive pickleball tournament! We ate, laughed, talked, and simply enjoyed spending time together outside of the office. These are the moments that allow us to build stronger connections and create memories as a team.
Every person at FFL has their own story, whether they’ve been here for years or are just getting started. Together, those stories create a culture where people are willing to share their knowledge, support one another, and celebrate each other’s successes and milestones.
More Than Coworkers
At the end of the day, what makes FFL special isn’t just the work we do. It’s the people who do it. It’s the stories behind the scenes that remind us we’re more than coworkers. We’re a team.
