All Year 3 correspondence from the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) will be on yellow paper, according to Kate Moore, president for the SLD. Moore made the announcement last Thursday, January 27, at an educational funding conference in New Orleans. She stated that the purpose behind the colored paper is to make this year's correspondence easy to distinguish from letters related to other funding years.
Moore also said receipt acknowledgement letters (RALs) will begin going out the first week of February. Moore said online filers will receive their letters more quickly than those who filed by mail. For those anticipating responses to their Year 2 appeals, Moore said the SLD will begin mailing those out the following week.
