USAC issued the most recent funding wave of FY2010 on August 24, 2010, approving 1,756 requests for both Priority One and Priority Two requests. Funding Wave 014 resulted in $32.3 million funded requests with only $3.7 million denied. The wave granted funding for 473 applicants with an average funding commitment per applicant of $68,309.43 and 464 service providers with an average funding commitment of $69,634.40. Since the first FY10 wave was issued, USAC has approved $1.1 billion in E-rate funding commitments for FY10.
