HP Settles with Department of Justice

The U.S Department of Justice announced they reached a $16.25 million settlement with Hewlett Packard (HP) regarding violations of the FCC’s E-rate competitive bidding rules. The issues stem from competitive bidding violations as it related to Dallas and Houston Independent School Districts E-rate procurement.

HP will be expected to have an E-rate compliance program in place and the FCC will monitor HP’s E-rate activities closely.
