New SLD Tools Released Prior to Filing Window

The SLD is getting ready for the opening of the FY 2016 filing window that opens on February 3, 2016 and has updated information on their website as well as within EPC.

Now available on the SLD website are multiple Quick Filing Guides as well as templates that can be used to bulk upload Entity Profile information and service information. Each service type has its own bulk submission template. The templates and Quick Filing Guides can be found on the SLD website here.

In addition to the templates and Quick Guides, the SLD has prepared a series of video tutorials that applicants can view to help navigate the filing process. The videos can be found on the SLD website here.

There are new options available inside EPC as of today. From the landing page, if you click on “Related Actions”, the ability to add contract information, manage connectivity information, as well as upload the bulk profile information appears. For 2016, applicants will need to update the connectivity information as well as enter any current contract information in order to prepare and submit their 2016 Form 471 applications.

Category 2 Budget Lookup Tool is also among the new tools available on the SLD website. Category 2 Budget Lookup tool is designed to help schools and libraries determine the available balances in their Category 2 budgets based on funding commitments for FY2015.
