FCC Rescinds Report on E-rate Progress

The FCC rescinded the staff report titled E-rate Modernization Progress Report that was released on January 18, 2017. The FCC stated that the E-rate report will have no “legal or other effect or meaning going forward….”  This is not uncommon for a new leadership team to rescind Orders or reports released by an agency within 60 days of a new Administration taking office.
The original FCC staff report on the E-rate reform progress can be viewed here.
