On June 9, 2017, the SLD released the 2nd FY2017 funding wave committing $77.69 million. This second wave affected 3,293 applicants and 1,138 service providers. The SLD denied $12.55 million affecting 94 applicants. Total FY2017 committed dollars to date is $126.29 million and $13.0 million has been denied.
However, there are 927 applicants that are still awaiting FY2016 decision totaling $264.9 million. If an applicant is unsure about the delay, it is advisable to reach out to the PIA reviewer or the SLD helpline at 888-203-8100.
