FCC Seeks USAC Board Nominees

The Federal Communications Commission is seeking nominations to fill six positions on the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) Board of Directors. As the administrator of all Universal Service programs (including E-rate), USAC’s Board is made up of a variety of individuals who possess a high degree of familiarity in various telecommunications issues.  
The Commission seeks representatives from:
  • E-rate eligible library systems
  • Cable operators
  • E-rate eligible schools
  • Commercial mobile radio service operators
  • State consumer advocates
  • Incumbent local exchange carriers
Nominations are due to the Commission by October 28, 2019. The FCC’s Public Notice regarding nominations may be found here
