MFA Coming to EPC in July

On June 26, USAC announced that it will be adding multifactor authentication (MFA) to increase the security of Universal Service Fund (USF) applications. The change will affect the login process for EPC users and BEAR form filers. Starting late July 2020, users will be required to first log in to USAC’s MFA security system to access EPC and/or BEAR Form.
To prepare for the multifactor authentication, USAC recommends:
  • Users to add noreply@usac.org to their safe senders list.
  • Email messages will be sent to primary email if different from the EPC login email. However, USAC will still use your EPC login email address as your portal username.
  • Decide how you would like to receive your second verification factor (MFA code).
