The third Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) filing window opened April 28th and closes Friday, May 13th at 11:59pm EST. Eligible schools and libraries are urged to submit their requests as soon as possible for funding to purchase eligible equipment and services received or delivered between July 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023, for off-campus use by students, school staff, and library patrons with unmet needs.
As of May 4, 2022, the FCC has committed over $4.8 billion from Window 1 and 2 applications, connecting nearly 12.5 million students with tools for online learning.
In their recent ECF news brief, USAC noted that Applicants and service providers can contact the Emergency Connectivity Fund Customer Support Center (CSC) with questions at (800) 234-9781 Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm EST. Extended hours will be available on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 8am through 11:59pm EST.
