News Alert: The Federal Communications Commission Wednesday morning formally approved a Second Report and Order which, among other things, will make voicemail eligible for E-rate discounts. FFL assumes that voicemail would qualify in both the Telecommunications and Internal Connections categories, although the FCC has not yet issued details. All five members of the Commission expressed strong support for the E-rate program, while voicing the need to streamline the process and further protect it from abuse and fraud. More details will be posted as soon as they become available.
