This week the SLD released the fourth wave in the 2006 Funding Year notifying 864 applicants and 593 service providers committing $37,691,219.59. The SLD has committed $241,281,968 with $3,262,424,252 pending.
The SLD also committed another $18,825,820.86 in wave 48 of the 2005 Funding Year. The SLD sent letters to 66 applicants and 141 service providers. As part of this wave $3,764,083.17 was for priority two funds. To date in 2005, the SLD has committed $1,653,042,653 and has $803,898,562 still pending. The SLD has disbursed $353,450,973 in 2005 which is only 21% of the committed 2005 funds. Applicants and service providers are reminded they do not need to wait until the end of the year to submit their BEAR or SPI forms to the SLD.
The SLD will continue to release 2005 and 2006 weekly funding waves.
