SLD Commits $15.4 Million in FY 2005

The SLD released FY 2005 Wave 66b this week committing $15.4 million of which $5.5 million was for priority two services.  The SLD has committed over $2 billion and still has $231.2 million pending for the 2005 funding year.  Of the remaining FY 2005 requests, $25 million is for Telecommunications, $4.9 million for Internet Access, $186.6 million for Internal Connections and $14.6 million for Basic Maintenance. 

The SLD released FY 2005 Wave 66b this week committing $15.4 million of which $5.5 million was for priority two services. The SLD has committed over $2 billion and still has $231.2 million pending for the 2005 funding year. f the remaining FY 2005 requests, $25 million is for Telecommunications, $4.9 million for Internet Access, $186.6 million for Internal Connections and $14.6 million for Basic Maintenance.

The SLD has reported that the remaining FY 2005 applicants who have not been funded will receive a letter with a brief explanation why there is still a delay in processing their requests. As the SLD processes the remaining applications they will issue FCDLs.
