USAC announced today that Wave One of FY 2007 will be issued on April 23, 2007 with letters being sent to over 21,000 applicants. In this initial wave USAC will commit over $202 million for Priority One services. There is no indication when funding commitments will begin to be issued for Priority Two requests.
Last year USAC began issuing funding commitment decision letters (FCDLs) for FY 2006 on April 26 in which it committed over $126 million for Priority One requests.
