SLD Issues FY 2004, 2007 Waves; Appeal Waves

This week the SLD notified 452 applicants and 345 service providers about the status of their FY 2007 applications committing $23 million.  The SLD, as early as next week, should be issuing FY 2007 priority two commitments at the 90% discount threshold.  To date the SLD has committed $391 million as has $3.4 billion pending.

This week the SLD notified 452 applicants and 345 service providers about the status of their FY 2007 applications committing $23 million. The SLD, as early as next week, should be issuing FY 2007 priority two commitments at the 90% discount threshold. To date the SLD has committed $391 million as has $3.4 billion pending.

The SLD notified one applicant about their status of their FY 2004 requests. The SLD still has $218 million pending and has committed $2.2 billion in FY 2004.  Nearly $1.5 billion has been disbursed to E-rate stakeholders in FY 2004 and according to a Funds For Learning analysis, based on the SLD data, close to $93 million in FY 2004 can still be invoiced to the SLD.
