USAC to Issue First Funding Wave for FY 2009

The Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) announced today that it will issue the first funding wave for the upcoming 2009 Funding Year on April 28. The funding wave will commit more than $134 million to school and library applicants for the funding year which begins on July 1, 2009. Nearly 7,000 Funding Commitment Decision Letters (or FCDLs) will be issued to notify applicants about the status of their Telecommunications Services and/or Internet Access Services funding requests.

As soon as the specific details about this funding wave is issued, they will be available for viewing at the Wave Reports page on Funds For Learning’s website.
