Leonard LaDuron Debarred for Three Years

In December 2009, Mr. Leonard LaDuron plead guilty to defrauding the E-rate program and was sentenced to 57 months in federal prison. According to the debarment letter issued by the FCC, Mr. LaDuron held himself out to be an E-rate consultant who steered contracts to companies and conspirators which directly benefitted Mr. LaDuron.

Mr. LaDuron was ordered to pay $238,607 in restitution for his involvement in the fraudulent activity.

To date, a total of 30 individuals or companies have been suspended or debarred from participating in the E-rate program. The SLD maintains a list of suspensions and debarments at http://www.usac.org/sl/about/suspensions-debarments.aspx.
