USAC issued the most recent funding wave of FY2010 on January 20, 2011, approving 968 requests for both Priority One and Priority Two requests. Funding Wave 034 resulted in $30 million funded requests with $9.2 million denied. The wave granted funding for 217 applicants with an average funding commitment per applicant of $138,249.04 and 305 service providers with an average funding commitment of $98,360.79. Since the first FY10 wave was issued, USAC has approved $2.1 billion in E-rate funding commitments for FY10.
