USAC released the forty-eighth funding wave of FY10, approving $30.9 million in requests. Funding wave 048 included 496 approved requests from 125 applicants, averaging $247,681.66 per applicant. The wave also approved 229 service provider requests averaging $135,197.41 per request. The wave included the denial of 157 requests, totaling $6.86 million. To date, USAC has approved over $2.48 billion in E-rate funding commitments for funding year 2010.
