On August 2, 2017, the Senate Commerce Committee will vote on the reappointment for FCC Chairman Ajit Pai and for Jessica Rosenworcel to continue her duties as FCC Commissioner. The Committee will also vote on the Nomination of Brendan Carr who is currently the FCC General Counsel and was nominated by President Trump on June 28, 2017. On July 19, the Senate Commerce Committee held a Nomination Hearing and questioned these nominees on important telecommunications policy issues.
