USAC Appoints New CEO

On December 13, 2017, the FCC announced that the new Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) CEO will be Radha Sekar. Ms. Sekar comes to USAC from the Farm Services Administration at the U.S. Department of Agriculture where she served as the Chief Financial Officer and will start her USAC responsibilities as of January 2018. The Acting USAC CEO Vicki Robinson has announced that she will be stepping down effective December 31, 2017 and has been the Acting CEO since Chris Henderson resigned in May 2017. Ms. Robinson has accepted a position at Microsoft’s Airband Initiative Team.
