North Carolina Seeks E-rate Deadline Waiver

On October 29, 2018, the North Carolina Department of Education requested an automatic waiver of the Last Date to Invoice rule, as well as relief for all E-Rate filing deadlines, including appeals to USAC and the Commission, for all applicants who were affected by Hurricane Florence on September 13, 2018, and Hurricane Michael, October 11, 2018. This request comes on the heels of the FCC granting the state of Florida similar request on October 26, 2018.
