On March 27, 2019, the FCC Wireline Competition Bureau notified USAC that the FY2019 Program Integrity Assurance Procedures (PIA) have been approved. This FCC action leads the way for the USAC to begin approving the FY2019 Form 471 funding applications that have been received through the filing window which closed on March 27.
As of March 27, there are already 14,872 funding requests that are “application wave ready” totaling $222 million when the SLD releases the first funding wave. USAC must submit the FY2019 Demand Estimate to the FCC before the first funding wave can get released.
