The Schools and Libraries Division June 2 distributed its eighth wave of funding commitments for the E-rate program's third funding year-1,645 letters with $50.6 million worth of discounts.
Through the eighth wave, the SLD has committed about one-quarter of the funds it has available to commit in the third funding year. The threshold for approved internal connections-currently at the 85 percent discount rate-did not change in the latest wave.
