SLD Releases New Form 486

The Schools and Libraries Division has issued a new Form 486 that is designed to address differences in the compliance requirements that schools and libraries now face under the Children’s Internet Protection Act.

The Schools and Libraries Division has issued a new Form 486 that is designed to address differences in the compliance requirements that schools and libraries now face under the Children's Internet Protection Act.

The new form has been issued in "scannable" format, which SLD officials hope will enable them to process forms faster. However, the SLD said it will continue to process the previous version of the Form 486. The SLD said it hopes to implement an online Form 486 soon.

The new form can be downloaded from the SLD web site.
