FCC Pulls Universal Service NPRM From Agenda

The Federal Communications Commission this morning pulled a vote on a rule-making related to organization of the Universal Service Fund programs from the agenda of its open meeting today.

An FCC source said the commission had been “preparing to vote” on the Notice of Proposed Rule-Making, but took it off the agenda to make room for consideration of another item related to E-911 services and IP telephony.

No other details were immediately available.
