FCC Adopts USF Rule, Seeks Further Comment

The FCC released the latest Universal Service Fund Reform Report and Order on August 29th and was posted in the Federal Register on September 24th.  The new rules outlined in the Order will take effect on October 24th. The FCC is seeking comment on additional reporting requirements for telecommunications carriers and contributors to the USF, changes in document retention rules and other burdens created by this new Order.  The comment date is November 23rd.
