GAO to Survey E-rate Applicants

The Schools and Libraries Division is reporting that the Government Accountability Office (GAO) will be conducting a survey of 700 E-rate applicants to "…obtain information on their experiences with and views of the E-rate program." The randomly selected applicants will be contacted via e-mail with information about how to participate in the study.

The results of the GAO survey will be included in a report that is to be sent to Congress later this year. The SLD is urging those who receive an invitation to participate in the survey. They are also assuring applicant that responses will not be shared in a way that will identify any individual respondents.
