SLD Issues First 2008 Internal Connections Commitments

The SLD has released the first round of Internal Connections funding commitments for 2008 as part of funding wave thirteen. The wave, which follows one day after wave twelve, includes a total of $112 million for applicants covering all service categories. The Priority Two commitments portion of this wave totals $83 million.

The wave also includes $117 million in rejections and reductions to funding commitments. An analysis by Funds For Learning shows that a number of applicants with Priority Two requests at or below 79% and below have been denied in this wave citing the lack of available funding.
