Eighteenth Wave for 2008 Released

Almost $53 million was committed by the Schools and Libraries Division in the latest wave of funding commitments issued for Funding Year 2008. The total of commitments for the year now stands at $1.09 billion for all service categories.

The 18th Funding Wave for FY2008 was released on August 12, 2008.  The top funding commitments for this wave were awarded to Sunesys, LLC and Mobile County School District.  They were funded at $10.36 million and $1.78 million, respectively.  A total of 2,747 requests were approved and 233 were denied.
