In the next few days, the SLD will release two Funding Year 2008 funding waves to applicants throughout the country. If you receive an Internal Connections funding commitment in these waves, or in a future wave, the installation deadline for the commitment should be automatically extended to September 30, 2010.
If you will be taking advantage of this time extension and your contract does not cover the entire period, you will need to extend the contract with your service provider and notify the SLD by filing a Form 500. According to a Funds For Learning analysis, there is approximately $919 million in Internal Connections funding commitments from 2005-2007 that has a deadline of September 30, 2010.
