USAC issued the twenty-third funding wave for FY 2010 on October 27, 2010. Funding wave 023 included commitments for both Priority One and Priority Two requests and totaled $33.9 million, representing 1,357 requests. This funding wave included 305 applicants, averaging $111,149.47 per applicant and 389 service providers averaging $87,148.04. The funding wave rejected requests for 252 applicants, totaling $5.2 million. Including this funding wave, USAC has approved over $1.5 billion in E-rate funding commitments for FY2010.
